How To Get Started With Us
Learn How To Get Started with HOME MOBILE NURSE
The best step to provide quality care is an initial meeting with the family and/or clients meet with a Visiting Caregiver coordinator. This meeting includes a detailed review of care needed, schedule request (if known), specific requests of family or client, and any other concerns. This is an excellent opportunity to ask questions of a Visiting Caregiver and it is an excellent opportunity for us to get to know you as well. If you are feeling overwhelmed, we can make recommendations as we have much experience in understanding what works in certain situations.
1. Specific Physical Needs: We assess the care recipient's requirements concerning bathing, grooming, dressing, meal planning and diet, mobility, and managing incontinence.
2. Reviewing Schedules: We delve into schedules for sleep, meals, medication, and any other pertinent routines. Additionally, we address emotional needs, including social interaction, engaging activities, stimulating conversation, attending appointments, and providing companionship.
3. Homemaking Assistance: We discuss homemaking tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, changing linens, doing laundry, and performing light housekeeping duties.
4. Logistical Details: We go over logistical aspects such as scheduling logistics, home access arrangements, documentation procedures, and how to navigate scheduling changes or communicate with our office and caregivers effectively.
If you decide to proceed with care during this meeting, we move forward by establishing a care schedule, finalizing the care plan, scheduling a nurse visit, and coordinating a meeting with the assigned caregiver(s). This streamlined process ensures a smooth transition and comprehensive support tailored to your needs.
